I want to thank Crowdtap for giving me this opportunity to host a super duper premiere of a new show and have a great party while doing it.

I get to watch the premiere of a new show on FX. It's called W.Kamau Bell- Totally Biased on August 9th at 10PM CST.

W. Kamau Bell is a comedian, and he's not afraid to admit that he's absolutely, 100 percent, totally absolutely biased.

THE PARTY

What I decided to do was to have my ladies' Bunco Night on August 9th.

I made a pizza and had refreshments of all kinds. My guests all brought different things to eat to add to our party.

Before we played we got to view some of the great video that Crowdtap sent me and we looked at some of the ideas for a great show in a great party kit. We took turns trying to make some funny joke, but I don't think we are great comedians. Here are a few of the jokes of the night "why do we DRIVE on the PARKway and PARK in the DRIVEway?", "How many psychiatrists does it take to change a light bulb. One, but the light bulb has to really want to change.", "Why don't cats play poker in the jungle? Too many Cheetah.." And we had a few riddles "What goes up the chimney down, but can't go down the chimney up? An umbrella.", and my favorite riddle..."As I was going to St. Ives, I met a man with seven wives, and every wife had seven sacks, and every sack had severn cats, and every cat had seven kits. Kits, cats, sacks, wives, how many were going to St. Ives? .....only one, ME.. I was going to St. Ives, the rest were going the other way for me to meet them...LOL."

For anyone who is not familiar with Bunco, it's a game played with 3 dice. You play 6 rounds for one set. Each round corresponds to a number on the dice from 1-6. The object is to score points by throwing the dice and having the number you are on turn up on the dice. If you are on 1's then you want your dice to turn up with 1's on them. You score 1 point for each 1 you throw, but if you throw 3 ones, it's a Bunco and you get 21 points. The winners stay at that table and the losers move to a new table. The winners are joined by the losers from the next table and the play continues until you get to 6's. Then you play a second set of 6. There are prizes for the winners at the end of the night.

Also, when you have a Bunco, you get to wear the BUNCO crown. It used to say LUCKY LADY, but some of the letters have fallen off and now it just say UCK LADY. This is me as the UCK LADY. I actually got to be the uck lady 4 times that night, which is very very unusual as a Bunco is hard to throw. The last one to Bunco gets a hostess gift. Since I supplied to the hostess gift, the one before me to Bunco got the gift.

We had tons of fun at the party as we always do when 12 ladies get together with good food, good drinks and this time the added show.

After Bunco, we got to watch the Premiere of Totally Biased with W. Kamau Bell and Totally Biased. We were expecting something a little more like Bill Cosby, but he is not. He is a bit more raw and very, very biased.

There were jokes that he told that we did laugh at... One was about Barack Obama. He said "they gave Barack Obama the Nobel Peace price and the dude had only been in office 10 months. He's involved in 2 wars. Did he give them to him because we are losing both of them? (we chuckled here). Barack didn't ask for the peace prize, even he admits he didn't do anything to get it. (He had a whole bunch of examples of ways it would be wrong to give an award to someone who has only been on the job 10 months, maybe like cashier of the month?) Think about all the people who never won a peach prize. Gandhi never won one and hewon the PEACEFUL revolution.. here's a link to the video.. this was really very funny and had us laughing...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0k1TRedBLNg

All in all we had a great time. But it's always great when the ladies get together.
